The Bouldering Authority is a family of climbing gyms that includes First Avenue Rocks and  Birmingham Boulders.  Our focus is building a strong community around our sport. Our facilities have something for everyone — from the first time climber to the seasoned veteran. Birmingham Boulders is the newest member of the Bouldering Authority family.  B2 is big!  Our 14,000 square foot facility is the largest bouldering gym east of the Mississippi.  Our new space has allowed us to expand all of our programs: more bouldering terrain, an expanded kids & family area, lounge space, and a lot more training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open to all patrons during regular business hours, the Forge Training Facility is host to the best climbing training available.  Upgrade your membership to include 24\/7 access to the Forge and never miss a workout again! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Located in the heart of Birmingham on the Rotary Trail, First Avenue Rocks opened it’s doors in 2009. With over 200 different climbs that change regularly, you can always find something to challenge your skills at this classic facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Featuring a full compliment of training equipment including free weights, hang boards, MOON Board, and campus rungs. First Avenue Rocks has the tools you need to learn the sport, get strong, and have fun.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
