"Climbing is a process-like yoga or running.
We want to go to the spots where we're barely able to hold on. Those are the climbs that force us to become better athletes and grow as climbers."

-Chris Sharma, American rock climber

As a former competitive athlete, Gera Nissen (RYT-200) found the practice of yoga not only calmed her competitive nature, but brought openings to areas of her body that were restricted because of her sport. Gera believes Yoga is a healing practice not only physically, but mentally and loves sharing these ideas with others. "Yoga is perfect for every body, and everybody is perfect for yoga! Come yoga with me and experience YOUR perfect form of yoga!"

Stef O'Callaghan (200 RYT) obtained her 200 Registered Yoga Teacher Certification in 2014 in Hatha Yoga through the University of Vermont, and has taught a wide variety of classes and styles since. Within her personal practice and teaching style, Stef enjoys exploring breath guided meditations and rhythmic flows. Whether the class style is invigorating or relaxing, her goal is that you always leave her class ready to seize the day and conquer your next project!

Kelly Huggart (200 RYT) initially turned to yoga as a fun way to manage stress and to stay fit and active in her college years.  She soon discovered that yoga has even more to offer. Holistic yoga and meditation teach us to flow through life with flexibility, awareness, grace, and gratitude.  Kelly recently completed her 200 hour RYT in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is now back in Birmingham and ready to share the gifts of yoga by helping students cultivate and nurture their connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Renny Ratliff (RYT-500) first experienced yoga many years ago without the expectation of finding a permanent home on her mat. A wanderlust with a keen thirst for new experiences, Renny traveled and adventured for years until deciding to plant roots back in her hometown of Birmingham and share her passion for yoga, spirituality and radical self-acceptance. When she’s not practicing or teaching yoga, you can find Renny captivated in her creative pursuits or getting groovy on the dance floor.
